General Infomation and Classes

- We ask that you take “Pride in Your Ride”.
- All vehicles except stock must have a number on driver’s side of vehicle visible from the time station. Numbers will be assigned on a 1st come 1st served basis.
- Pit spaces will be sold for $50.00 per year (season). Pit space will be the property of the owner for that season.
- Gates open at 4:30pm. BE ON TIME! No teching will be done after 6:30pm. Entries after 7:30pm will result in a $10.00 late fee unless prior notice is given (example: phone call).
- Only the driver and co-pilot will be permitted to ride in the vehicle during the race. Both must sign a liability waiver.
- Entry fee for trucks will be posted for all classes. Drivers and Pit Crew and all other persons entering the Pit Area will pay a 10.00 pit admission fee. **ANY PERSON ENTERING THE PIT AREA MUST SIGN A LIABILITY WAIVER. NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. **
- Spectator Entry:
- Adults = $10.00
- Children under 10 = Free
- If Pit Pass is wanted for spectators it will be an addtional $5.00
- No alcoholic beverages allowed in the Pit Area. Persons caught consuming alcohol in the Pit Area will be escorted off the premises of MVMD.
- No driver or co-pilot will consume alcohol at any time either prior to or during the races. Violation of this rule will lead to the disqualification of the entire team.
- Registration for all vehicles will be from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
- Quads will race at 8:00pm – or as soon as the driver’s meeting ends.
- Trucks start at 8:30pm.
- There will be a two (2) minute time limit for the vehicle to approach the starting line after the final call of name/number. If unable to stage in time, you will be disqualified.
- Once both vehicles are staged and the stage light comes on, you cannot back up and restage. For safety reasons, rules will be enforced.
- Every vehicle must have good operating brakes.
- No test runs after dark.
- By-Runs optional.
- All weights must be securely fastened to vehicle. If any weight is lost during the race you will be disqualified.
- All vehicles must have a 5-point safety harness for all classes except stock which must have at least the factory seatbelt with shoulder belt.
- Open wheel base vehicles are recommended to use arm restraints.
- All participants will wear helmets.
- Any vehicle going out of bounds will be disqualified. The judge’s decision will be final.
- Judges will check to be sure that all vehicles meet requirements of their class; including general safety requirements.
- Everyone in the Pit Area must have a pit pass and sign a liability waiver. No one without proper signed releases will be allowed in the Pit Area for any reason until after the races.
- Rollbar and driveshaft loops are required on all classes except stock.
- Driver’s suit is required for all classes except stock.
- ATTENTION: All drivers must start deceleration immediately at the finish line. In the attempt to clean tires you must come to a complete stop then “burp throttle”, then you may proceed into the Pit Area. Continuing to accelerate through the shutdown area will not be tolerated.
- First Offense: Warning
- Second Offense: Disqualification of the run prior to the offense.
- This rule is for safety and will be STRICTLY ENFORCED. Absolutely no excessive acceleration at any time while in the Pit Area. Idle speed only.
- PROTEST: $200.00 to protest. If upheld money protestor will keep money. If not upheld protested will keep all the money.
- Points will be awarded as follows: Points will be awarded starting with the 2012 race season.
- 1st Place = 15 points
- 2nd Place = 10 points
- 3rd Place = 05 points
- Ten (10) points will be awarded for entering.
- Bump ups into higher class only if there are less than 3 trucks in a class.
- Vehicles must operate in a safe manner at all times. You can be disqualified for operating any vehicle in an unsafe manor or showing poor sportsmanship.
- All vehicles must pass a safety inspection.
- No loose items in bed or cab of vehicle.
- Each wheel will have all lug nuts & tightened, no hubcaps or beauty rings.
- Battery must be secured, and not in the drivers compartment.
- No loose parts on vehicle, I.E. fenders, bumpers, lights ECT.
- Suspension, steering & brakes must be in good working order & safe.
- Fuel system & tank must be secured, with fuel caps and in safe condition.
- All vehicles must have a neutral safety switch or a driver in the seat while the motor is running. All solenoid shifters must have relays.
- Drivers and co-drivers in all classes must wear seat belts and helmets.
- All vehicles above STOCK must have roll cage with at least 5-point restraints. Threaded pipe-fittings or lap weld pipe is not allowed (round tube only)
- Any ballast must be secured, No liquid or loose ballast.
- Flame retardant suit required in all classes above STOCK.
- No more than two people in vehicle during race.
- A fire shield or wall must separate occupants from engine compartment.
- Fire extinguisher required in all classes both in vehicle and pit area. (approved and working.)
- All vehicles must have brakes on wheels capable of locking and in good working order.
- Once a vehicle is in the staging area, only driver & co-driver allowed in vehicle.
- If vehicle makes it through pits, both must remain in vehicle and return to pit area.
- Vehicle must stop immediately upon signal from official.
- Contestant can only drive one vehicle in each class. Each driver & co-driver must be registered. Each vehicle must pay the entry fee for the class they’re running in.
- These updated rules supersede & prevail over all previous rules written or “unwritten”; drivers will be informed of any changes or additions to these rules at the drivers meeting.
- Must be street legal with current license plates, registration, inspection sticker and insurance.
- Must be driven to the track.
- No paddle or cut tires.
- 3 and 4 wheelers only. All ages welcome.
- All riders must wear a helmet.
-3 Modifications Only
- BODY:
- Stock frame and body only.
- Must retain all factory interior and exterior panels.
- Any type of bed allowed.
- No frame modifications.
- Must be street able with windshield.
- Current safety inspection, insurance, license plates required.
- No ATV type vehicles or motorcycles.
- Seatbelts with shoulder strap required.
- ENGINE:
- Stock O.E.M. engine must have been available in model of vehicle.
- No open headers.
- 750 cfm maximum carburetor.
- Aftermarket or aluminum intake allowed.
- Must draw at least 16” of vacuum at idle.
- TRANSMISSION:
- Factory transmission only.
- No Stall Converters.
- GEARS:
- Any gear ratio allowed.
- SUSPENSION:
- Stock suspension only.
- May have traction bars.
- FUEL:
- Gasoline only.
- NO Nitrous oxide or additives.
- GENERAL:
- All General Rules Apply.
- Uncut D.O.T. tires only.
- Must have a properly functioning brake system to adequately stop the vehicle within 200 feet.
- BODY:
- Any body allowed.
- Must have a roll cage.
- 2 & 4 wheel drive.
- ENGINE:
- OEM engine (CID limit 474).
- Headers only.
- OEM ignition only.
- No electronics allowed (line lock, etc.).
- OEM carburetor (stock only - no modifications).
- Hydraulic cams only.
- Must pull 12-14” of vacuum at 900 RPMs.
- TRANSMISSION:
- NO 2 speeds.
- No working Trans brake.
- FUEL:
- Gasoline or racing gas allowed.
- NO nitrous oxide or additives.
- No alcohol allowed.
- GENERAL:
- D.O.T. tires only, cut or uncut tires.
- Tractor tires allowed
- No paddle tires allowed
- Must have 3 working brakes.
- Must have kill switch within reaching distance when driving.
- WEIGHT LIMIT:
- No weight limit.
- BODY:
- Must retain all factory exterior panels.
- Any type usable bed allowed.
- No tarps.
- Must have windshield.
- No ATV type or motorcycles.
- ENGINE:
- Any 8-cylinder OEM engine allowed (CID limit 474).
- Open headers allowed.
- Aluminum intake allowed, one four barrel carburetor.
- No aluminum heads (after market heads allowed 23 deg.).
- MSD ignition allowed NO accessories (electronics, Trans brake, line lock, etc.).
- Roller cams only
- TRANSMISSION:
- Stock only, NO modifications.
- Stall converter allowed.
- GEARS:
- Any gear ratio allowed.
- 4 wheel drive only.
- SUSPENSIONS:
- Stock suspension only ladder bars allowed.
- FUEL:
- Pump or racing gas only.
- NO nitrous oxide or additives.
- No alcohol allowed.
- GENERAL:
- Only D.O.T. tire allowed.
- NO cut tire, trimmed tires or paddle tires.
- Must have 3 working brakes.
- Must have kill switch within reaching distance when driving.
- WEIGHT LIMIT:
- Big Block – 4,000 lbs.
- Small Blocks – 3,600 lbs.
- BODY:
- NO S-10 or Rangers – must be full size 4x4
- Must retain all exterior body panels. NO fiber glass
- Must be available as 4x4 for that year and model
- Frame must be factory stock (engine and transmission in stock location)
- Fenders may be cut for tire clearance only
- Must have windshield and hood
- Ballast allowed but must be secured
- Vehicle must represent OEM models
- ENGINE:
- 410 cubic inch total small block only
- One four barrel carburetor (NO Dominators)
- Aluminum intake allowed. NO tunnel rams

- Trans brake allowed
- DRIVE TRAIN:
- Must have two properly secured driveshaft loops on drive shaft
- REAR-END:
- Any gear ratio permitted
- SUSPENSION:
- Any type of suspension permitted
- Ladder bar permitted
- Four-Link permitted
- FUEL:
- Gasoline or racing gas allowed
- NO nitrous oxide or additives
- No alcohol allowed
- GENERAL:
- D.O.T. tires, cut or uncut, tractor tires. No paddle tires allowed.
- Must have 3 working brakes
- Must have kill switch within reaching distance when driving
- BODY:
- Any body having a professional appearance permitted.
- Trimming and narrowing allowed.
- Must have a properly secured roll-cage constructed of 1-5/8” round tubing.
- No tube frames.
- ENGINE:
- Any big or small block less than 572 cubic inches permitted.
- Sfi approved damper and flywheel recommended.
- Only one carburetor of any size permitted.
- Aluminum heads allowed.
- TRANSMISSION:
- Transmission blanket or shield is required
- DRIVE TRAIN:
- Must have two properly secured driveshaft loops on drive shaft
- REAR-END:
- Any gear ratio combination permitted
- SUSPENSION:
- Any type of suspension permitted
- Ladder bar permitted
- Four-Link permitted

- Gasoline or alcohol
